Yak DK on the Yak 60 base is such a gorgeous base.
This yarn is exquisite with the natural undertone of the Yak; this base is dark and rich, it is soft and silky.
The fabric knits up into a velvety super soft fabric, with a wonderful drape, this would work well for luxury shawls and sweaters.
Figgy is a lovely deep aubergine colour. It is shown here with Figgy, Cairngorms, Bean, Stonewash, Barricane and Crema, on the same base.

Hand dyed yarn 100g
212 meters per 100g hank
60% super-wash merino, 20% yak, 20% silk
Hand-dyed using professional acid dyes; no two skeins are completely identical due to the nature of this process, though they are dyed in batches.
Every attempt has been made to wash any residual dye from the yarn, however a little may remain; especially with dark or vivid colours, so I recommend to hand wash separately. Reshape made products whilst damp and dry flat.
All our yarn is hand-washed with moisturising, dermatologically-tested hand wash.
