"Elephants Never Forget - Suncreen" is a NEW fun, variegated colourway.
This NEW variegated 4ply colourway is the next in our Elephants Never Forget… series, dyed to create a micro-spiral stripe in socks.
This time, all of the bright, tonal pink-peach base is speckled with pops of pinks, yellow and orange, with half of the skein then overdyed with grey.
With these pops of colour and some of the vibrancy of the pink-peach showing through the grey, it looks like maybe the elephants did forget their sunscreen!
It is designed to knit with a spiral, micro-stripe, for socks, as shown in the images of the sock tubes (knit with I'm The Gingerbread Man).
The idea of a range of colourways named, "Elephants Never Forget..." came at the beginning of Birdstreet Yarn, six years ago. We are beginning to explore this again, with different colourways paired with the grey, for a range of fun themes.

100g 425m
75% super-wash merino
25% nylon
Hand-dyed using professional acid dyes; no two skeins are completely identical due to the nature of this process, though they are dyed in batches.
Every attempt has been made to wash any residual dye from the yarn, however a little may remain; especially with dark or vivid colours, so I recommend to hand wash separately. Reshape made products whilst damp and dry flat.
All our yarn is hand-washed with dermatologically-tested, anti-bacterial, moisturising hand-wash.
