Birdstreet Yarn Christmas Box 2025 - Pre-Order

This is NOT and ADVENT, rather, it is a gorgeous box, perfect for a 'From Me, To Me' Christmas gift or a Christmas box for someone special.

The Christmas Box is filled with the equivalent of 200g of yarn and beautiful extras, all on the theme of a Nordic, or Scandinavian Christmas 🎄 🎄 🎄

These Christmas Boxes contain 200g of mystery colourways, along with a number of other beautiful goods on the same theme.

Other goods within the boxes are also a surprise, but do include a NEW Birdstreet drawstring tote bag and an exclusive, limited edition, handmade, framed lino-print on a Scandinavian theme.

The main, variegated skeins will have a light, airy, uncluttered, harmonious feel, paired with darker tonals, in four different options:

1: 100g variegated merino / nylon + 5x20g tonals

2: 100g variegated merino / nylon + 100g tonal

3: 100g variegated alpaca / silk / cashmere + 100g asc tonal

4: 100g variegated merino / nylon + 2x50g brushed Suri Alpaca / silk lace weight

These options are perfect for so many projects, including some of our favourite shawls by @twinsetandpurl like;

1: the Jon shawl
2 and 3: the Simon shawl or Alexander shawl
4: the Clare shawl

When ordering, please do not include any other items to your order as they will not be able to be sent together.

Yarn Content: Hand-dyed yarn

Option 1, 2 and 4:

Merino 75 4ply:

75% super-wash Merino, 25% Nylon; each 20g mini 85m, each 100g skein 425m

Option 3: Alpaca / Silk Cashmere 100g skeins, 400m, 
70% Baby Alpaca, 20% Silk, 10% Cashmere

Option 4: Alpaca / Silk lace-weight yarn 2x50g skeins. Each 50g skein is 300m, 74% Brushed Suri Alpaca / 26% Silk. The accent 'Cloud' skeins will be lighter than the tonals on the other bases, enabling them to be either held double with the 4ply or work as a harmonious tonal with it.

These Christmas Boxes are for PRE-ORDER and will be dyed to order, ready to send out in early November, at the latest.

 
Hand-dyed using professional acid dyes; no two skeins are completely identical due to the nature of this process, though they are dyed in batches.
Every attempt has been made to wash any residual dye from the yarn, however a little may remain; especially with dark or vivid colours, so I recommend to hand wash separately. Reshape made products whilst damp and dry flat.

All our advent yarn is hand-washed with moisturising, dermatologically-tested hand wash.

Colours may vary between viewing monitors; every effort has been made to represent a true reflection of the yarn.
