The second of our Re-imagined Minis Specials for 2025 is Fabulous Starling!
This year, we will not be running the Re-imagined Yarn Club Each month. Instead, we will only be releasing Re-imagined Specials, for each Flock and Festival we go to.
The second was created for Unravel, February and is based on the stunning, deep, jewel tones of Fabulous Starling!; part of our Spring 2025 Collection. The colourways are inspired by the striking, iridescent plumage of starlings in our garden.
The Reimagined Yarn Club was a monthly club, throughout 2024; initially it was running for 6 months, but we had such a positive response (and have such a big 'back catalogue' to choose from)... we kept it going, until January 2025!
Starting with 1 x 100g 4ply skein of one of our most popular colourways, the colourway is then reimagined in 5 x 20g tonal minis, deconstructed from the main skein.
These sets, or minis could be used to make the beautiful Jon Shawl, by Twinset And Purl, available on Ravelry, (and shown here), which was designed using the Beachcomber Set of 1x100g Beachcomber and 5x20g Re-imagined 20g tonals.
Clare has made her Jon Shawl using a set of reimagined minis (Fallin' For You), paired with a luxury skein of Alpaca / Silk / Cashmere 4ply, in Fall-Head Over Heels... AND we have seen some stunning shawls, hats, socks, and cowls, using our Re-imagined Advent for 2024!... as well as SO many of our other Re-imagined sets!... the possibilities for pairing a 100g skein with a set of 5x20g minis are endless!
Hand dyed 4ply minis set:
5x20g 85m
75% super-wash merino
25% nylon
Hand-dyed using professional acid dyes; no two skeins are completely identical due to the nature of this process, though they are dyed in batches.
Every attempt has been made to wash any residual dye from the yarn, however a little may remain; especially with dark or vivid colours, so I recommend to hand wash separately. Reshape made products whilst damp and dry flat.
All our yarn is hand-washed with moisturising, dermatologically-tested wool wash.
