Birdstreet Yarn Christmas Tellybox 2026 - The Muppet Christmas Carol

This is NOT an ADVENT, rather, it is a gorgeous box, perfect for a 'From Me, To Me' Christmas gift or a Christmas box for someone special.

This year takes inspiration from the popular Muppet Christmas Carol, a must-watch Christmas movie. It follows our #tellyboxsockclub going on throughout the year.

This is a very yarn-focused Christmas Box, with:

• 100g variegated and 100g tonal
on 4ply merino / nylon or alpaca / silk / cashmere
• 2x50g tonals on DK Merino / cashmere / nylon
• 1x20g tonal merino / nylon
• 3x stitch markers based on the story, from @notionandneedle
• 1x handmade, ceramic Christmas decoration made by @clare_birdstreetyarn
• Code for an Emily Cratchett Mittens pattern designed by Clare, using the 2x50g DK yarn.

This box-set is perfect for 1 shawl or 2 pairs of socks, plus 1 set of mittens, giving some perfect Christmas projects.

These are available to pre-order.
Yarn will be dyed in batches, as your orders come in, with boxes packed and ready to send out in early November.

The images show the colour palette which the yarn and goods are inspired by.

The main skeins are 100g variegated and 100g tonal, 4ply yarn, with two different bases to choose from:

1: Regular: merino / nylon (425m 100g, 75% superwash merino, 25% nylon)

2: Luxury: alpaca / silk / cashmere (

400m, 100g, 70% Baby Alpaca, 20% Silk, 10% Cashmere)

The rest of the boxes will be the same, across both options.

The 2x100g skeins are perfect for so many projects, including some of our favourite shawls by @twinsetandpurl like; the Jon shawl, the Simon shawl or the Alexander shawl.

Or, the 20g accent mini could work so well with them for socks.

When ordering, please do not include any other items to your order as they will not be able to be sent together.

 
Hand-dyed using professional acid dyes; no two skeins are completely identical due to the nature of this process, though they are dyed in batches.
Every attempt has been made to wash any residual dye from the yarn, however a little may remain; especially with dark or vivid colours, so I recommend to hand wash separately. Reshape made products whilst damp and dry flat.

All our Christmas Box yarn is hand-washed with moisturising, dermatologically-tested hand wash.

Colours may vary between viewing monitors; every effort has been made to represent a true reflection of the yarn.
