Tales From The Riverbank is a beautiful, variegated colourway, with a base of greens, aqua and mustard, speckled with golds, greens and rust.
NEW Tales From The Riverbank continues our range of new colourways inspired by friends and family. It’s been tough recently and friends and family matter so much!
We just want to take a chance to let them know how much they mean to us x
Often, we start with a colour palette or image and the name comes after the yarn is designed and dyed. This one definitely had the name first.
This is a very special colourway for us, as it is one of my brother-in-law’s favourite songs, by The Jam.
Whenever I dye this, I’m looking forward to thinking of him and stories we talk about, from childhood days spent outdoors, messing about by the river…

Special song for a special man... Clare's brother, who sadly passed away, this year; he loved the socks which @clare_birdstreetyarn made with this colourway!
It is shown with a number of gorgeous variegated and tonal yarns, including Gingerbread, Seaglass, Beeswax, Frog, Mallard, Lovely Shrubbery, Beachcomber and One Little Speckled Frog.

25% nylon 100g
Hand-dyed using professional acid dyes; no two skeins are completely identical due to the nature of this process, though they are dyed in batches.
Every attempt has been made to wash any residual dye from the yarn, however a little may remain; especially with dark or vivid colours, so I recommend to hand wash separately. Reshape made products whilst damp and dry flat.
All our yarn is hand-washed with dermatologically-tested, anti-bacterial, moisturising hand-wash.
